Studio Sessions
My portraits are usually taken using the natural window light in my studio. This lighting is flexible, so your dog can move around more. However, if your dog is well-trained, I can use my studio lighting for a more dynamic look. If you have sensitive dogs, keep in mind that the lights will *flash*.
My studio is located at 309 Victoria Street, Brunswick.
Please note that the studio is also home to two resident cats (they will be locked out during the session). However, if the scent will be too distracting, please consider booking a location session.
Location Sessions
I am happy to capture your dog at their favourite place, your home or local park. I can also recommend some beautiful locations in Melbourne.
Outdoors, I rely on natural light, so the best time to shoot is in the late afternoon when the sun is at its lowest. Alternatively, we can stick to the shady areas and achieve great results.
Travel fees will be calculated and added for location sessions. However, if you choose to have your session at Brunswick Park (or nearby), there will be no fee.
If your home doesn't have ample natural light, I charge a $200 callout fee to pack up all my gear and bring my studio lighting to you.

If you would prefer more variety, I often recommend starting our session in the studio and then finishing outside on the streets of Brunswick or walking up to Brunswick Park (800 metres up Victoria St)
No additional travel fee will be included if we remain on foot. However, keep in mind that the session will take longer, so I recommend booking at least Package 2.

Wranglers
If you are going to be in the portraits with your dog I may need your assistance with getting eyes on the lens. Feel free to bring a friend along or any treats or special toys that will help us get the shot.

Each Session Includes:

A private proofing page sent within 48 hours allowing you to select which portraits you would like retouched
Colour and black and white versions of each image
Web and high resolution versions of each image
7 business day turn around (after images have been selected)
Images are delivered via googledrive (no account required)

Additional Family Members
I do not offer large group or family photos, I specialise in intimate portraits, the main focus being on the dog or the connection between you and your dog(s).
The packages above include up to two dogs and one person (if applicable). Three's a crowd after all!
Additional dogs or people are $75 each. Consider booking a longer session for multiple dogs.
